1. Acceptance of Terms
By engaging Aussie Book Publishers House for editing, formatting, design, distribution, or any other service, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
2. Services Provided
We provide manuscript editing, proofreading, book formatting, interior layout, cover design and illustration, ISBN guidance, and distribution support through platforms including Amazon KDP and IngramSpark. The specific scope of work for your project will be confirmed in your individual quote.
3. Quotes and Payment
Quotes are provided after reviewing your manuscript and requirements and are specific to your project. Payment terms (deposit amount, milestone payments, and due dates) will be set out in your quote or agreement. Standard terms require payment in full (100%) upfront, which may be split across a maximum of three milestone payments per project where applicable.
4. Revisions
The number of revision rounds included in each service will be set out in your quote. As standard, we include unlimited revisions until you’re satisfied with the result.
5. Intellectual Property and Rights
You retain full ownership and copyright of your manuscript and all rights to your published work at all times. We claim no ownership over your content. Any original design or illustration work we create for you is licensed for your use as described in your agreement.
6. Client Responsibilities
You're responsible for providing an accurate, complete manuscript, responding to requests for feedback or approval in a timely manner, and ensuring you hold the rights to any third party content (such as quotes or images) included in your manuscript.
7. Cancellations and Refunds
If a service outlined in your agreement is not delivered, or is not provided as agreed, a refund will be issued for the outstanding or undelivered portion of that service only. Refunds are processed within 21 days of final written confirmation.
8. Third-Party Platforms
Some services involve third party platforms such as Amazon KDP and IngramSpark. We don't control these platforms' policies, pricing, or availability, and can't guarantee outcomes (such as sales, rankings, or approval timeframes) that depend on them.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount paid for the specific service in question. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, including loss of profits, sales, or anticipated savings, even where we’ve been advised such loss was possible.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The most current version will always be available on this page.
